Past Interact President, Grace Brasel asked the membership to help collect new and used eye glasses to be distributed in Nicaragua.  This summer, thirty Augustana College pre-medical and health students will be participating in Augustana's JETS program, Joining Education Through Service. For two weeks, students will travel to small communities throughout Nicaragua to assist in running free health clinics for the local people. One of the free health services they provide is eye care.  One of the goals is to distribute as many free glasses in Nicaragua as they can to those who truly need them.

How can you help:  For the whole month of March there will be a box at Rotary where you can bring your used and new eye glasses.  They can be readers, prescription or sunglasses. Thanks to everyone for helping with this International Service Project!
