On Thursday, April 14th, students from the Interact Club from United Township High School were given the opportunity to Job shadow career professionals for the day.  Twenty-seven UTHS students were placed with East Moline/Silvis Rotarians or other professionals to job shadow their position.  The students reported directly to the place of employment and then attended the East Moline/Silvis Rotary luncheon at Christ Church in East Moline.  Students shared their experiences with the club and either returned to UT for their afternoon classes or resumed their job shadow experience.  This program has been in existence for about 25 years and has proved to be extremely successful.  Students enjoy their experience and the time they spent with their mentors.  It was a great articulation between the young and the experienced!
